Quick Tip: Gear alignment for Quickcakes Pancae Maker
Walk Through of How to Align the Gears on Pancake Machine
If one of the right-side green rollers that has gears on it inside the equipment isn’t turning but the other one is, don’t worry — this could simply be due to the roller being out of place. Whether it happened while changing the belts or during transit on a new machine, it’s an easy fix. This quick video walks you through getting the gears back in alignment.
Common Symptoms
- Pancakes sticking, smearing, peeling, and burning
- Belts stopping and starting
- Gears making a “clicking” sound
- One right-side green roller turning but the other is not
Troubleshooting
- While the equipment is off and cool to the touch open the front door
- Remove the two lug nuts on the frame that is out of alignment
- There is one on each side of the tension lever
- Press on the front side of the burner to push it further back to align the gears. You can also pull the burner out slightly to help give it a more forceful push back in
- Once the gears are aligned make sure the screw holes for the lug nuts are completely flush with the side of the burner frame
- Replace lug nuts so they are hand tight
- Close the front door and turn it on
- Make sure the belts are turning
- If so, you have resolved the issue
