Learn how to change the burner temperature or “color” on your QuickCakes pancake maker. Follow these simple steps to increase or decrease the cooking temperature.
Changing the temperature of the burners on the QuickCakes pancake maker is a simple and easy process. This video walks you through how to increase or decrease the burner temperature using the built-in settings menu.
Things to Know
- Temperature adjustments can take several minutes to complete
- If you unplug the equipment from the wall, these settings will revert to their factory defaults and will need to be changed again
Steps to Change Temperature
- Power on the equipment
- Press and hold down the Menu button
- The LCD screen will prompt you to enter a pin
- Press 4, 3, 2, 1 and then press OK
- Setup will now appear on the screen
- Tap the Menu button once to see the Options menu then press OK
- Tap the Menu button two more times until the screen reads Change Color then press OK
- Use the keypad to increase or decrease the temperature by selecting one of the available options
- Adjusting Temp will now appear on the screen
- Increasing the temperature can take several minutes as the bars on the screen continue to fill in
- Once the temperature has been adjusted the equipment will revert to the warming up screen
- Once completed it will then instruct you to load a mix bag and close the lid to continue
- The same process can also be used to lower the temperature of the burners
- Go back to Options, Change Color, and lower the temperature
- The Adjusting Temperature screen will appear while the equipment brings down the temperature
