Learn how to check the belt usage on your QuickCakes pancake maker to see if belts need to be changed with no mix bag required.
You can check the current belt usage at any time to see if the belts need to be changed. No mix is needed to do this.
Things to Know
- If the belt usage is less than 95% there should be no reason to change the belts unless something is visibly wrong with the belts themselves
- No mix bag is needed to check belt usage
Steps to Check Belt Usage
- Turn on the equipment and let it fully warm up
- Once warmed up the screen will display “Load Bag Now” then “Close Lid”
- Simply open and close the lid on top of the equipment
- The LCD screen will display “Is Bag Loaded” — press OK for Yes
- The LCD screen will now display “Press OK for 2” — once you see this, tap the Menu button next to the screen
- Do not keep the Menu button pressed in, just tap it
- The first menu will be “Check or Shake Bag” — tap the Menu button again to see the current belt usage
- Tap the Menu button again and the screen will now display “Input Belt Code”
- If the belts need to be changed, press OK and follow the steps on the screen
- Otherwise tap the Menu button one more time to return to the main screen to make pancakes
