Quicakes pancake maker-Belt Tears
Fix belt tears on your QuickCakes pancake maker caused by the keeper pin in the white anti-roller. Learn how to push the pin back in and prevent future tears.
While belt tears are uncommon for the QuickCakes pancake maker, they are possible. If a tear in the belt is noticed, it could be caused by the keeper pin in the white anti-roller. Sometimes this pin simply works its way out over time due to vibrations from the equipment. Luckily, this can be easily corrected.
Common Symptoms
- Visible tear or rip in the belt
- Keeper pin visibly sticking out of the white anti-roller
How to Fix
- Let the machine cool down
- Open the front door and release the white anti-roller from the frame
- Once the white anti-roller has been released, freely turn it to locate the keeper pin that is sticking out of the roller
- Use an object like the back of a pin to push the protruding part of the keeper pin back into the white anti-roller
- Once the anti-roller is smooth, insert the axle back into the frame and shut the front door
