American Quick Foods, Inc. aspires to minimize its impact on our environment and maximize the effective use of resources. We strive to achieve this by fostering responsible environmental behavior amongst staff and users at all levels and by increasing communication and awareness of our efforts.

SUSTAINABILITY
QUICKCAKES PROGRAM EFFICIENCIES:
Minimizes raw and cooked food waste: Optimized servings per package andoptimized cooked serving size.
Reduces landfill: No portion cups or cup lids needed. Eliminates 99 lbs. oflandfill waste per location annually.
Saves on energy: Operates on approximately half the power of the averagewaffle baking system. Saves up to $200/yr. in energy usage per property.
Reduces use of water and cleaning agents:
No displays, utensils, dispensers and baking equipment to wash.
We use precise measurement re-fillable water bottles to save water.
Ozone Friendly: No messy oil-based aerosols or silicone based release sprays arerequired.
Efficiency multiplier: 3X the product output. Greater output equals greaterefficiencies.
OPERATIONS:
- We have a robust maintenance and re-furbishment program that minimizes scrap by 95%.
- Our shipping pallets are backhauled so that they are re-used. At end of life, they are recycled.
- Our mix boxes are made of compostable and bio-degradeable materials and 50% recycled content.
- Our equipment shippers are re-claimed and repeatedly re-used.
TRANSPORTATION:
- We optimize our shipments by bundling products to reduce shipping miles.
- We utilize both UPS and FedEx for our equipment and product shippingneeds. Both companies have a significant and well-defined commitment tothe planet and people.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
- American Quick Foods Inc. recognizes its social responsibility as a corporatecitizen of the United States. As such, we comply with all laws andregulations regarding the environment, wage and working conditions, andhuman trafficking and slavery. Our food product supplier partners arerequired to verify that their goods are produced in compliance withapplicable laws regarding slavery and human trafficking.
